Day Two: Your Least Favorite Song (November 2, 2014)

Day Two: Your Least Favorite Song.

There has been a lot of times through my life where I hear a song on the radio and I automatically change it.

It doesn’t always mean the artist is bad (most of the time), but it means they did not have the right song.

As of late there is only one song that comes to mind and that song is “Singing in the Shower” by Becky G.

It just is not a song that I particularly enjoy. A lot of the songs on the pop radio charts have been either about sex, or something pointless. There are a few hidden gems in the mix that are worth every second of air-play sadly they are not always the ones that get played a lot. For example, “Try” by Colbie Caillat or “Fire” by Gavin DeGraw. Both really great artists who get overshadowed (in my opinion) by these “teeny bopper” hits about stuff that really don’t make sense or just pointless stuff no one really cares about. The beat of the music is usually pretty really great, I mean heck it has one of those beats that make you want to dance, but really you made a song about singing in the shower? Again I realize a lot of people like this song, however it just is not a song that I rather enjoy.
